WEST Kilbride Bowling Club is hosting a 'Go Purple' day for Ayrshire Hospice next month in memory of a much missed former member.
The event is taking place between 10am and 12 noon on October 11, and participants should feel free to wear a touch of purple if they wish.
This date would also have been Lauder Reid's 70th birthday.
Lauder's widow Isabel told the News that he passed away in the hospice nine years ago, and was so well looked after.
The Go Purple day is also a special thank you for all their expertise and professionalism, and she urged as many people as possible to come along for the special day.
