ANOTHER free laughterfest is coming to town this Friday with the return of the comedy standup night to The George in Largs.
The Main Street bar has lined up another collection of top comedians to perform in the upstairs lounge.
The event kicks off at 7.30pm and boasts a top signing in Edinburgh Fringe comedian John Purves, who is known for his engaging observational humour, and is sure to bring the house down with his standup show.
The format of the evening sees a total of eight comedians take to the floor meaning it is a fast mix of different styles and there is even a five minute slot for any up and coming talents who want to have a try in Largs.
Compere Steve Goldie said: "Once again we welcome any locals to bring along some friends and support any newbies willing to try performing for the very first time for a five minute spot."
The comedy nights have proven to be a great success in the summer months, even attracting Big Brother star Mikey Hughes to last month's show, as audiences have lapped up the opportunity of regular standup in Largs.
It has also provided a platform for local comics as well as some of the cream of the crop from across Scotland.
This is the last show of the summer run, with another big event planned for the festive period.
