PUB customers have a chance to give a fond farewell to Sharps owners Nick and Sara Veitch.
The Nelson Street bar is hosting a leaving party with live music this evening for the couple who have successfully transformed the much loved venue, after they announced earlier this week that they are moving on to pastures new.
Nick and Sara have been involved in the hospitality trade all their lives and snapped up the site two-and-a-half years ago, after time living abroad in South Africa.
A bar spokesperson said: "As we all know Sara and Nick are moving on to their next adventure. We will miss them millions with all the amazing memories they have made here at Sharps in Largs. They have been amazing bosses, friends and family to us all here.
"We would like to invite you all to a last drink with Sara and Nick from around 6pm. We will have the fabulous Craig Scott Music and we want to wish them the very best and give them a brilliant night to remember."
The couple told the News at the time that they had looked at more than 60 different pubs from Inverness to London and drove more than 2,700 miles across Britain before making the big choice.
Live music, an Oktoberfest week, comedy shows, and even a Hallowe'en pet competition were among the diverse range of ideas which helped cement the bar as one of the busiest watering holes in town.
Son Kyle will be taking over the reins with partner Jen, while Sara and Nick are moving south of the border and are going to be running a pub in Malton in Yorkshire.
