WITH darker evenings drawing in, police have urged the public to be cautious after another outbuilding was targeted by thieves in Largs.
We recently reported that three attempted break-in incidents took place in Holehouse Road, with all taking place on the same night during the summer.
Police described each incident as 'theft by opening lockfast place', an aggravated offence which includes circumstances such as opening a locked garage or shed and stealing items from inside.
The problem has re-emerged in Holehouse Road, after it was reported to Largs Community Council that another outbuilding had been targeted in the same street, this time on August 21.
It came two days after an attempt to break into a vehicle parked in Brisbane Street in Largs.
If you can help police with any of the above incidents, or indeed, you wish to report a crime, contact 101 or go to the Contact Us section of the Police Scotland website.
