SCOTTISH Water has announced an overnight road closure as part of an ongoing £2 million upgrade to North Ayrshire's water network.
Restrictions will be in place on Shore Road just before Rothesay Court coming from the ferry terminal on Wednesday, October 2 through to Thursday, October 3.
Work will take place under two-way traffic lights during the day and a road closure will be in place from 11pm on Wednesday October 2 until Thursday October 3 at 6am.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. The work is being carried out in conjunction with Amey’s resurfacing programme for the area.
Scottish Water’s alliance partner, Caledonia Water Alliance, will be carrying out the work.
The publicly owned utility company has advised that all necessary steps will be taken to keep disruption to a minimum, and it thanks impacted road users for their ongoing patience and cooperation.
