SNOOKER, badminton and table tennis were just some of the sports on offer to youngsters at the Fairlie Youth Club in 1989.

And the pupils at St Mary's Primary in Largs raised a total of £63 for Cystic Fibrosis Research after a series of fund-raising activities.
And it was a quiz night fund-raiser for Largs Colts at the Picketlaw with mums and dads all helping out as general knowledge skills were put to the test.
And there was elegance and beauty in abundance at the Willowbank Hotel in Largs as a fashion show fund-raiser took place.
And Largs Academy were the best in the west after they scored 89 points winning the Ayrshire Cooperative Society Trophy in school choirs at the Ayrshire Music Festival.
