LARGS Academy pupils encountered scrum-thing special at school when they were given some top rugby coaching.
It was part of the School of Rugby programme which features in educational establishments around the country, and first year pupils were given a good debriefing before getting to show off the skills.
An Academy spokesperson said: "It was a great day with our S1 girls taking part in rugby sessions.
"It was great to have external female coaches as role models and S5 girl coaches to showcase benefits and opportunities sport can bring, especially our School of Rugby programme."
The School of Rugby is a programme that helps more pupils enjoy the benefits that participation in rugby brings and develops their social and academic skills.
