THE MV Loch Shira, which faced a period of four months out of service for repairs this summer, has had to cancel sailings this afternoon due to a steering issue.
The MV Loch Dunvegan is currently on its way to Largs and expected to resume the Cumbrae-Largs sailings from 2.45pm.
"MV Loch Dunvegan is currently on passage to Largs and expected to pick up service with the 14:45 departure from Largs."

The MV Loch Shira only returned to service in early August, having been out of service for 124 days, with specialist parts required from Poland while it was in dry dock.
