A POLICE helicopter was involved as officers attended a 'concern for a person' incident in Largs on Sunday night.
Eyewitnesses spotted a big search going on in the Silverdale Gardens area of town, while police sirens could be heard with extra reinforcements seen racing through Seamil.
A video of a police helicopter flying overhead also appeared on social media pages
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.55pm on Sunday, October 6, officers received a report of concern for a person in the Silverdale Gardens area of Largs.
“Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing.”
