LARGS Gaelic Choir were in good voice at the Tidelines Book Festival at the start of what is shaping up to be a busy month.

The choral group were performing at the Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine and got a great reception from audience members.

A spokesperson said: "Largs Gaelic Choir thoroughly enjoyed our performance at the Tidelines Book Festival.

"The poets who shared the bill with us were both excellent. Niall O’Gallacher & Catriona Ross.

"Next up it’s the Oban Mod on 18th October."

The Mod was lasted hosted in Largs in 2002, and it was the third time that it had hosted the Gaelic music extravaganza.

Largs Gaelic Choir has been in existence since 1980 and are always looking for new members.
