LARGS Amateur Operatic Society paid tribute to long-serving president Fiona Page, who stepped down from her position after 10 years in charge.

Hugely popular stage shows over the years include Sister Act, Evita, and Jesus Christ Superstar, before the pandemic.

Productions ceased for two years before returning in fantastic style with Fiddler on the Roof in 2022, Calendar Girls in 2023, and Carousel in 2024, with planning now well under way for 2025's production '9 to 5'.

A message on the Largs Amateur Operatic Society said: "At our latest AGM we said a loving and heartfelt thank you and à bientôt to our president of the last decade, Fiona Page, who stepped down from the position.

"We wish her all the best but she’s not got far from us, Fiona is still an active singing member of LAOS Voices and will remain on the props team for 9-5 and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Thank you for everything.
