MEMORIES from 35 years ago of Largs Brownies leaving for camp feature in this week's delve into the archives as we head back to 1989.

The girls and the guide leaders were pictured at St Columba's Parish Church before heading off on their big annual adventure.

Millport youngsters were also exploring the great outdoors but they were much closer to home with a trip to the island's Portrye Farm.
