LARGS Academy Picture House have revealed their next film showing which has a Hallowe'en theme.

It will be the Walt Disney spectacular Hocus Pocus starring Bette Midler, Sara Jessica Parker and Kathy Najmy, and will be shown on the eve of Hallowe'en on Wednesday, October 30 at 6pm.

Conjured up by some unsuspecting pranksters, a tricky trio of 300-year-old witches set out to cast a spell on the town and reclaim their youth. But first, they must get their act together and outwit three kids and a talking cat.

The 1993 comedy film lasts 96 minutes and is certain to bring thrills, spills and laughter to the aisles of the Picture House.

Tickets are now on sale for the big show at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/whats-on/ayrshire/largs-academy-performance-space/hocus-pocus-presented-by-largs-picture-house/e-dmayqr.

Largs Academy launched its own cinema in 2019, which is again continuing this year.

It was a business start-up as part of a skills development programme aiming to train up Largs Academy pupils for the world of work, with Walter Smith OBE a mentor on the project.
