BROWNBEAR are returning to perform at Celtic Connections in the new year after a successful appearance at last year's music extravaganza.
Lead singer Matt Hickman, who hails from Largs, said: "I am delighted to be returning to Celtic Connections in January and will be bringing a Re:Imagined version of ‘Demons’ featuring a string quartet to Saint Luke’s on Sunday, January 19.
"I can’t wait to share this very special show with you."
Tickets are available via celticconnections.com.
The release of their debut single ‘Dead or Alive’ in 2014 saw Brownbear gain prominence with radio play on Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio Scotland and playlisted on Radio X.
They were then invited to support The Libertines at the Barrowlands reunion show before joining them at Alexandra Palace in London, Hyde Park BST and several European dates of the tour.
The band has shared the stage with a variety of well known artists and Brownbear’s self-released debut album ‘What is Home?’ was rounded off with a sold out show at the famous King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, with last year seeing the release of the hotly anticipated album 'Demons' which will be re-worked for the big Celtic Connections show.
