THE nomination process is now open for this year's Margaret Currie BEM Award for Fairlie's Young Citizen Of The Year.
The citizen award is a long standing tradition in the village going back over thirty years, with the annual presentation taking place at the tree lighting night in December.
To be eligible, the nominee should be aged between 14-and-a-half and 21 years, either live in or have been born in Fairlie and have worked with/encouraged other youngsters or achieved something of significance.
If you'd like to nominate a young person, please complete the form at the Fairlie Community Association Facebook page or hard copies are available from Fairlie Primary.
The award will be presented at this year's Christmas tree lighting at Fairlie Village Hall on Monday, December 2.
Last year's winner was David Sutherland.
