A HERO volunteer who is celebrating half a century at Largs RNLI is to give a talk to the museum on Tuesday October 29.
'Lifeboat, 50 Years through my eyes' is a talk given by Ronnie Copland who has been involved with the volunteer emergency service since 1964 and seen many changes technologically and in personnel.
During his career, Ronnie undertook the roles of Inshore Lifeboat Crew, Shore Crew and Deputy Launch Authority.
It is the first in the series of Largs and District Museum and Historical Society winter talks.
The event starts at 7.15pm in Largs Museum in Manse Court.
