WE are taking a look back to Hallowe'en celebrations from the past in the Largs and Millport Weekly News as we blow the cobwebs off the spooky archives!
Hopefully there are not too many scares for our readers in this week's blast from the haunted past.
And Douglas Park playgroup certainly got into the spirit of things with some terrific Trick or Treating in 1989.
Fairlie youngsters put in their own thriller night with beavers, cubs and scouts all coming together for the hammer horror fest.
And from Bertie Basset to bumble bees, Largs BB were fully immersed in the Hallowe'en experience as they enjoyed old favourites like dooking the apple and other games.
And Fairlie Bowling Club showed that it wasn't just the children who were getting in on the act as the staged a gangsters and dolls theme.
We travel back to the early 80s for Millport's Hallowe'en as some young cowboys and caped crusaders dressed up for party time.
