LARGS Dental Care has a new owner following a confidential sale of the business in Wilson Street.
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of the professional dental health clinic, a minute's walk away from the town centre.
Largs Dental Care is described by Christie & Co as a mixed-income dental practice with three fully fitted surgeries.
Following a confidential sales process with Joel Mannix at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Stephen McConalogue at Christie Finance, it has been purchased by first-time buyer, Sukhada Bal.
Sukhada, who is practice principal, graduated from Mumbai University in India and has worked in Scotland for the past 14 years.
She finished her post graduate qualification (MFDS) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and went on to complete a post graduate diploma in dental implantology from Cambridge.
The new owner said: “I’m settling in well and thoroughly enjoying this new experience as a first-time owner and manager of a dental practice.
"I’m eager to work in the clinic and learn the ins and outs of the business. It’s very busy, but also incredibly rewarding.
"I’m very happy with the purchase and look forward to updating and expanding the services offered, especially since we have a waiting list.”
Joel Mannix, head of dental at Christie & Co, added: “Sukhada has been searching for the perfect practice for some time, and this opportunity aligned perfectly with her background and the kind of challenge she was looking for.
"She is enthusiastic about getting into the management side of the business and implementing the planned improvements.
"It has been a pleasure to facilitate the purchase of this practice, and I wish everyone involved the utmost success in the future.”
Largs Dental Care was sold for an undisclosed price.
The mission aim on the Largs Dental Care website says: "We take great pride in the quality of our treatment and want to make your visit a pleasant experience.
"Our aim is to ensure the continued health of your teeth and gums, and this means giving you regular dental advice and helping you to understand how to care for your teeth.
"We encourage our patients to attend regularly in order to maintain good oral health."
