A SECTION of a road in Skelmorlie is to be closed for more than a month due to Scottish Power works.
The area of Eglinton Terrace between Beechgrove and Westwood will be closed from November 4 at 8am to 5pm on December 6.
Diversions will be signposted.
Independent councillor Ian Murdoch confirmed the closure, and said: "I have had a chat with a representative of Scottish Power and local access for residents within the works and emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever possible.
"However, the road will be closed to through traffic."
