SCHOOLS, shops and community events got into the spirit of Hallowe'en with some fang-tastic costumes to capture the mood.

Largs school dinner ladies were certainly well dressed for the occasion as they made some sweet treats for Hallowe'en.

The infant department had a scream with fun activities in class and a big party in the hall.

St Mary's Primary pupils enjoyed a creepy Crochet Club with the Parent Council teaching them how to make hand warmers for the local community and they aim to distribute them in December.

(Image: Largs Academy) Pupils at St Mary's had a spooky day with stories read by Mr Bones and then they enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities in class. They finished off the day with a Hallowe'en Party.

It was also a Happy Hallowe'en from Largs Academy pupils who got dressed up for the occasion.
