A DROP in session has been arranged on Cumbrae later this month to discuss a future development plan which could have a major impact on the island going forward.
Councillor Todd Ferguson helped bring the event - on Monday, November 18, from 12pm to 3pm at Garrison House, Millport - to the island, and believes it is important that as many people come along as possible to share their views.
He said: "Recently, I requested that Cumbrae be included in the list of venues so that the community could have the opportunity to discuss the next iteration of North Ayrshire Council’s Locality Development Plan 3.
"If you have views about planned development on the island or areas identified for development by the community council via their Local Place Plan I would strongly advise that you attend, so that your views can be taken into account."
Anyone unable to make one of the information events but are interested in finding out more about the development plan is encouraged to contact the strategic planning team to arrange a conversation at time convenient to them.
The team can be contacted by emailing: ldp@north-ayrshire.gov.uk.
