CLYDE Coast and Cumbraes Men's Shed is taking part in International Men's Day on November 19 and will open its doors from 10am to 4pm to the public.
The event is taking place at the Brisbane Centre in Bath Street in Largs.
Secretary Ian Murdoch said: "The public are welcome to come along and see what we do and we are always open to bring in potential new members as we are always willing to take the initiative forward.
"Anybody can come in and ask questions about we do and how we help so many people with their physical and mental health and wellbeing."
The Men's Shed is approaching its two year anniversary in March, and it already has a membership of more than 80 people.
The main purpose of the group is to provide a place for men to get together, chat and help each other, as well as work as a team in producing various woodcraft to boost men's mental health.
Scottish Men's Shed Association CEO Jason Schroeder said: "The global awareness day which takes place on the November 19 each year to celebrate and recognise the positive value that men bring to the world, their families and communities.
"We are encouraging the community to come along.
“Members of Scottish Men’s Sheds are all volunteers and we must recognise their achievements and the contributions they are making to our society.
"This event has the potential to inform and inspire new, wide and varied audiences. We urge the public to come along and see a real Men’s Shed in action for yourselves."
