MACARI'S Fish and Chips in Wemyss Bay will once again hand out free meals on Christmas Day to those in need.
The popular takeaway has been running the initiative for a number of years, and it returns again in 2024 despite a change of ownership.
Brothers Ignazio and Silvio Porceddu said goodbye to their loyal customers last year after they retired from their roles after nearly three decades.
Ignazio's godson Marco Leotta has been running the popular shop on Shore Road since he took over the helm.
A spokesperson said: "I would like to thank you for the continued support you have shown myself and my family.
"After the success we had last year supporting families, the shop will be open again this year on Christmas Day from 12pm to 4pm.
"All meals will be free and there will be no limit when ordering. If you have a large order, we would appreciate advanced notice to allow us to prepare.
"We would be grateful if you could spread the word to anyone who may benefit from this service."
The shop will be shut from December 28 to January 9.
