SKELMORLIE'S Christmas tree will be lit up as part of a special event later this month.
Locals can take part in the festivities by heading down to the Community Centre on Wednesday, November 27 from 6pm.
There will be the chance to enjoy a milled wine or soft drink with a mince pie or biscuit, as well as participate in carol singing and meeting Santa.
At 7pm, the village Christmas tree will be switched on with the help of Santa and the children.
Skelmorlie Community Association said: "Please note that this is a free event and all are welcome to join in the festive fun.
"All children need to be supervised by an adult due to the close proximity to the road."
