EXCITEMENT is building as a popular island distillery teases the launch of a new product.
The Isle of Cumbrae Distillers has confirmed that a brand new product will be joining its lineup of award-winning gins very soon.
The business currently has four gins - Restoration, Maura, Croc Rock, Nostalgin - that were all named after people and places with links to the island.
However, the new product is expected to take gin lovers' "Isle of Cumbrae collection to the next level".
Young couple Caroline Christie and Struan Fraser are working alongside the current all-female team to bring new skills and ideas to the business, and the island, before becoming full owners in the next few years.
