A POPULAR café in Largs has reopened under new management following a two-month closure.
The Gypsy Cream cafe opened its doors to the public once again on November 21 after its owners announced in September their "heartbreaking" decision to close temporarily due to ill health.
Husband and wife duo Sharon and Alex Kean had been running the multi award-winning café on Frazer Street for many years.
Now Christine and Fiona have taken on the hugely popular business and has given an important message to customers.
In a statement online, they said: "Firstly I would like to thank Sharon and Alex for all their support in the takeover of The GypsyCream,
"I hope the cafe brings me the same success and happiness in the future as it did for them. Myself and Fiona would like to wish them all the best for the future.
"We really hope to see all our regular customers and of course lots of new customers. The cafe will remain dog friendly for well behaved dogs with the front two tables accommodating this."
The cafe will be open from Thursday until Saturday from 9.30am until 4pm for the first two weeks, and thereafter will be open the same hours from Tuesday to Saturday.
