A POPULAR island distillery has launched a brand new Scotch whisky to add to its product line-up.
Last week, the Isle of Cumbrae Distillers confirmed that a new product was to join its selection of award-winning gins very soon.
The business currently has four gins - Restoration, Maura, Croc Rock, Nostalgin - that were all named after people and places with links to the island.
It has now been announced that they are launching their first-ever Scotch whisky named Lion Rock which has been named after the iconic landmark that guards the island.
The new drink represents "two sides of an ancient tale surrounding one megalithic structure".
