LARGS Lifeboat has cancelled a coffee morning fundraiser due to the weather forecast on Saturday morning.
The anniversary get together was supposed to be taking place between 10am and 12 noon at the church annexe of Largs Parish (formerly Clark Memorial Church).
However, the oncoming Storm Bert with heavy winds and snow forecast across Scotland has resulted in a decision to axe the event.
The RNLI is celebrating both its 60th anniversary of its existence in Largs, and 200 years of the lifeboat in the UK.
The event was due to be taking place on November 23.
