LARGS Thistle's big Scottish Cup match in Dundee against East Craigie has been postponed this weekend.
With Met Office weather warnings and snow, heavy winds and rain forecast across Scotland, the decision to call off Saturday's match was taken earlier this afternoon.
Thistle had been preparing for the match in snowy conditions at Barrfields on Wednesday night.
A posting on the Largs Thistle social media pages stated: "Bad news everyone, tomorrow's match is OFF.
"East Craigie versus Largs has not beaten the weather. We're contacting everyone with a bus seat.
"Stay safe this weekend. We'll get an updated date and match information when we have this."
It has been a big season for Largs who are aiming to progress and reach the latter end of some of the main tournaments, and currently sit third in the West of Scotland Premier Division.
And should they beat East Craigie, Largs will face another trip to Montrose Roselea or familiar foes Beith, who are the only team to have beaten Largs at Barrfields since February, in the fifth round on December 14.
