HAYLIE House Care Home held their Remembrance Day commemoration on November 11, which included a short service.
The care home were delighted to be joined by Stuart Rumble and Ray Young of the Largs Branch of Royal British Legion Scotland with their King's Colour and Branch Standard.
The service for residents and staff was conducted by Revd Mark Goodman of Saint Columba's Scottish Episcopal Church.
Manager Irene Smith welcomed everyone to the service which was to remember the men and women from our own country and the Commonwealth who went to war and laid down their lives on our behalf.
After the two minute's silence the Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator, Linda Young, read the poem "In Flanders' Fields" by John McCrae.
At the conclusion, Irene thanked everyone for attending and participating in this important event.
Thanks to Brian Bowden for the photo from the occasion.
