SANTA Claus will have a tracker this year on his visit to the Clyde Coast as Largs Events prepare for a busy week.

It is Largs Yuletide Night on Wednesday, December 4, with Santa's Parade starting at Kwik-Fit at 6.15pm and heading towards his grotto which will be once more in Nardini's Cafe.

The popular shopping night is always a spectacle with discounts and free offerings of mulled wine and nibbles on the evening.

A Largs Events spokesperson said: "The entertainment will be focussed on Gallowgate Square. There will be no stage in Aitken Street, and we will not be closing the streets in Aitken Street and Tron Place as we have done in the past.

"There will be a PA system in Gallowgate Square including live music and lots of entertainment, and there will be street entertainment around the town, including Mr B Loon, Scotland's best balloon crafter, returning again in Aitken Street, around Tesco, and Superdrug areas.

"We are working on some new surprises for Yuletide Night itself so keep an eye on the Largs Events Facebook page for more details."

The Largs Yuletide Night has been running for over 35 years and is always a popular date in the build-up to festivities.

And Santa's sleigh will be visiting neighbourhoods on the Clyde Coast next week, as well as having a tracker so you can keep an eye on his whereabouts via the Largs Events Facebook page.
