LARGS Academy pupils have been enjoying some stunning sights during a school trip to Germany over recent days.

Head teacher John Doherty has accompanied teachers and pupils on the big school trip, with everyone based in Munich.

The second day of the trip has included a visit to the spectacular Neuschwanstein Castle - a 19th-century historical palace on a rugged hill of the foothills of the Alps in the very south of Germany.A pizza the action: Largs Academy pupils and teachers enjoyed a pizza outing on their first eveningA pizza the action: Largs Academy pupils and teachers enjoyed a pizza outing on their first evening (Image: Largs Academy) Following the castle visit, pupils enjoyed dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Munich.
