LARGS Foodbank has received a generous donation from the station boss of Hunterston B.
The food bank is open every Thursday in Largs Parish Church, formerly known as the Clark Memorial, and the donation comes following a recent appeal by the volunteers amid a drop in donations.
Food bank co-ordinator Wendy Low Thomson said: "A lovely donation today from Joe Struthers, station director from EDF at Hunterston B presenting a cheque for £250 to Largs Foodbank today. Thank you for your support to our community."
The Largs Foodbank covers Largs, Fairlie, Skelmorlie and Cumbrae, and is open from 11.30am till 4.30pm.
