POLICE are warning the public to be vigilant amid an investigation into a number of recent thefts in Largs.
An update on crimes committed in the town from mid-October to mid-November revealed a range of incidents, including a reported house break-in.
On October 28, the alleged housebreaking offence took place in Crawford Street, close to the town centre, with intent to steal. On November 1, there was a reported theft in Charles Street. And on November 11, there was a similar incident in Morris Street where a person was spotted within the grounds of the property with intent to steal.
All these matters so far have gone undetected as police appeal for further information.
There was also a theft by opening a lockfast place at the Spar store in Holehouse Road on October 20. A person has been reported in connection with the incident, as well as a 'breach in bail conditions', according to the report handed to Largs Community Council.
