LOCAL businesses are getting ready for Yuletide in Largs on Wednesday night, with Santa's sleigh parade set to start at 6.15pm through the town centre.
Geraldo's is one of many businesses which will be opening its doors for late night shopping, and offering visitors a free dram.
The five star Visit Scotland gift shop, based at the corner of Main Street and Bath Street, is offering a free sample from the popular Arran Gold range.
A spokesperson said: "Come on down this evening and soak up the festive atmosphere. We're open until late, so you can get caught up on your Christmas shopping too!
"Plus, treat yourself to a free wee dram of Arran Gold."
Another local business offering freebies and discounts tonight is The Bus Stop Toy Shop in Irvine Road.
Owner Duncan Conner said: "Join us this evening for the final day of our special offers, some Christmas shopping, a glass of wine and festive cheer."
Wilkies in Bath Street is offering the opportunity to win lucky dip discount vouchers where you can receive between 20 and 50 per cent off everything you purchase.
Moorings Knitwear in Largs is offering 20 per cent off all stock (full price) including Glenbrae, Glenmuir, William Lockie, Barbour and more.
Each purchase on the night will also give shoppers the chance at a lucky dip raffle with some top prizes including Barbour and Glenbrae range products.
Costa Coffee in Largs is offering a Yuletide market which is open from 4pm with local crafters, facepainter, professional photographer, Glow, plus Jane Dawson is offering angel card readings.
XO beauty salon in Boyd Street will have prosecco and cupcakes, as well as vouchers on offers.
Enjoy a free refreshment if you are visiting Ivory Mac in the Main Street.
And look out for the Largs Thistle merchandise stall which will also be in operation on the high street.
Santa's parade starts at Kwik-Fit at 6.15pm and heads towards his grotto which will once again be in Nardini's.
A Largs Events spokesperson said: "The entertainment will be focussed on Gallowgate Square.
"There will be no stage in Aitken Street, and we will not be closing the streets in Aitken Street and Tron Place as we have done in the past.
"There will be a PA system in Gallowgate Square including live music and lots of entertainment, and there will be street entertainment around the town, including Mr B Loon, Scotland's best balloon crafter, returning again in Aitken Street, around Tesco, and Superdrug areas."
Some alpacas will be visiting Tron Place to bring some joy and a good dollop of cuteness to proceedings for the late night shopping extravaganza.
The Largs Yuletide night has been running for over 35 years and is always a popular date in the build-up to festivities.
