Surely Cochrane’s Column should say “editor of the ‘Wee Paper’ 400 years ago.”
Some of the ‘wokeisms’ he quotes are just plain silly but he just uses that as an excuse for a page of reactionary bile.
Can we expect a similar column calling out all the racist, sexist, homophobic comments that are still all too common?
When he bemoans the loss of an age when we could ‘have a good laugh’ does he have Bernard Manning and Jim Davidson in mind?
