The glory days of the Largs pub scene in the early 2000s saw most bars being busy not just on weekends - but on weekday evenings too.
So much so that the iconic Vikky's Bar on Largs seafront had a busy daily schedule of events it featured in an advert in the Largs and Millport News in 2003.
Monday night was quiz night with the top prize at £25.
Tuesday night was a Cult Movies and Drinks promo where you could 'enjoy a wide range of drinks promos in our upstairs function lounge' while various films were shown on the big screen. Do you remember?
Wednesday night was Band Night showcasing live local talent from 8.30pm.
Thursday night was Variety Night with Sumo, Bucking Broncos, Comedians and Hypnotists - with of course, drinks promos.
Friday Night saw guest DJs till 2am with R'n'B, Punk and Hip-Hop.
And if that wasn't enough there was a full schedule for the weekend as well for keen revellers as Vikkys was very much was one of the places to be in town.
Saturday Night was Party night with prizes or the top dancers with a 2am licence.
And rounding things off on Sunday was the Cabaret including Elvis and Aretha Franklin Acts, as well as prize karaoke.
Vikky's closed in 2010, and was demolished a few years ago to be replaced by new housing.
But many locals and visitors have happy memories of the seafront venue, from the upstairs vodka bar to the live music and entertainment in the premises, which attracted big names including The Alarm, Spencer Davis and Colin Hay of Men at Work fame, when it was run by Tam Skinner.
