West Kilbride travel agent Linda Hill has travelled to London to join hundreds of people from across her industry in the 'Travel Day of Protest' at Westminster.
Linda said: "Today is the day we speak up and loud for the travel industry in hope our leaders listen we need support until it is safe for international travel to restart.
"Our industry have worked tirelessly for the past 17 months with zero income.
"Every time a holiday gets cancelled we lose money and in some instances some clients have booked and rebooked up to seven times and still we make no money.
"Despite we make no money the banks still charge us to process credit card refunds.
"I have worked in this sector 34 years and loved every minute despite all the challenges we face and for 17 of these years I had built a strong resilient business LAH Travel and my heart is broken.
"I have the best team of people around me and don’t want that to change Team LAH so the government need to HELP.
"Together we stand strong."
