In an incredible day for Largs Karate Club, a team of siblings were crowned British Champions at the Karate Union of Great Britian National Championships.
The Largs trio of Sarah, David and Emily Williams took home gold in the Adult Team Kata event at the 53rd National Championships held at Leicester's Morningside Arena.
The Karate Union of Great Britain is the UK's largest karate organisation, and this was only the second time in its long history that Scottish competitors have won gold medals.
In a tense final, the Largs team put in a stunning performance of the kata, Sochin, to beat teams from Somerset, Sunderland and Ashington to lift the title.
There were further strong performances from the full Largs team of nine competitors and they weren't done with the medals as David Williams went on to take bronze in the individual Adult Male kata competition, making it the club's most successful day in its nearly 40 year history.
The Largs team is pictured here with coaches and former world champion, Sensei Frank Brennan.
