Thistle legend George Wall writes for the 'News'...
Three mistakes cost Largs the three goals on Saturday.
From going great guns in recent weeks, Kilwinning was definitelyan off day.
Largs will be looking for a strong response when they travel to Kirremuir on Saturday.
Although Kilwinning were the better team on the day it was three errors that caused the goals.
Kilwinning missed a number of chances throughout the game as did Largs for a five min period after half time when if they had taken the lead that may have given the team the confidence to go on and win.
Getting beat happens but the performance was not up to the usual standard.
A few supporters around me were saying the grass park had a effect on the team, possibly it did however if so they better get over it for the Scottish Cup and league games ahead.
Largs need a player that grabs the team by the scruff of the neck, organises and forces them on. The performance must have given Arnie a lot to think about.
