Organisers of a sailing festival in Largs are delighted that the opening weekend has been their most "well-attended to date".
Last weekend, the Largs Regatta Festival attracted a record 67 dinghies and 50 keelboats over the Bank Holiday weekend, making the opening weekend the most well-attended edition of the Regatta to date.
The regatta is a highly anticipated event in the Scottish sailing calendar, running from August 25 to September 3 in the waters around the town.
The annual Cumbraes Weekend, which formed the opening weekend of the Largs Regatta Festival, was blessed with sunshine and light, north-west winds creating a stunning spectacle in the Largs Channel and Firth of Clyde.

Meanwhile, Largs-based charity Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust ( EMCTrust ), the official charity partner of the festival, led 17 boats on a cruise in company around the Cumbrae Islands.
They raised £1,500 from entry fees and clothing sales.
Over the past few days, the midweek series on Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30 included keelboat and dinghy racing, with an extra race for dinghies only today (August 31).
However, the fun isn't over yet as the highly anticipated Scottish Two-Handed Race rounds off the racing action on Saturday, September 2.
