There is a new name on the trophy, following the McAulay Invitational Tennis Tournament played at a damp Douglas Park tennis courts in Largs yesterday (September 17).
Scott Crossett was the winner after defeating Alex McAulay in the final, as both were looking for their maiden trophy to bring a dramatic conclusion to the competition.
Scott, who had a match point last year in the Championship tie break final against Lewis McAulay, bounced back and won at tightly contested semi against Lewis 6-4.
Alex had defeated Gordon McMillan 6-3 in the other semi final.
The event had a qualifying group, quarter finals, semis and finals, with each match consisting of one set, with winner Scott and runner-up Alex having taken part in a total of six sets each throughout the afternoon.

And in another eye-catching game, two previous champions crossed swords at the quarter final stage, with Lewis McAulay defeating his father Malcolm 6-3.
Supporters also turned up to cheer on the players in the fun and competitive event, which had a barbecue.
