It has been another successful year for Largs Tennis Club with booming membership numbers seeing lots of play on the courts at Inverclyde Sports Centre.
The club continues to move from strength to strength, with a successful club championships, Ayrshire Doubles league campaign, and Nardini's Cup tournament which is played throughout the season.
The following are the results for Largs Tennis Club Championships which were played last month:-
Gents singles - Thomas Laurie
Ladies singles - Janie McKenzie
Gents doubles - Thomas Laurie and Gordon McMillan Jnr. Ladies doubles - Deborah Brown and Claire Donaldson
Mixed doubles handicapped - Thomas Laurie and Diane Fung Mixed doubles open - William McMillan and Diane Fung
Nardini's tournament: Gwen Bamford and Gordon McInstrey.
Largs Tennis Club have also been sponsored by Nardini's this season who have provided hospitality for the Gents and Ladies teams competing in the Ayrshire Doubles Leagues.
A club spokesperson said: "We would like to thank Nardini's for their great sponsorship with sandwiches for league games plus everything else they do for us.
"The first team won the league and the second team also enjoyed a very good season and blooded a lot of new players."
And the ladies have also impressed with a number of new players really finding their feet in the Ayrshire Doubles League after finishing top of their league, and will be moving up a division next year.
Congratulations to Gwen Bamford as ladies' overall winner of the Nardini Cup. Congratulations also to Gordon as the men's overall winner of the Nardini Cup.
Also, congratulations to all the winners of the individual rounds.
Largs Tennis Club are a friendly, active and inclusive club with a growing membership that plays all year round on four floodlit, artificial grass courts at the sportscotland National Sports Training Centre in Largs.
