Junior coaching sessions on padel tennis are available starting this week in North Ayrshire.
The racket sport is similar to tennis and uses shorter stubbier racquets with the ball staying in play longer due to toughened glass walls, and utilises the same point scoring system as tennis, and is underarm serve only.
And local youngsters can find out much more about one of the fastest growing sports in the world by taking part in the junior coaching programme at West of Scotland Padel centre in Stevenston Industrial Estate.
Children aged 6-11 play between 4-5pm, and 12-17 years from 5-6pm on Thursdays from November 16 until December 14.
