Fitness enthusiasts in Largs can try out an ace new sport that has been praised for its accessibility and openness for all ages.
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America and is now coming to Scotland - with a number of ex-tennis players including Andre Agassi, Andi Roddick and Maria Sharapova giving it a shot.
It uses elements of racket skills from tennis, squash, badminton, and table tennis.
The rules and scoring system also mean that pickleball is much more accessible for people of all ages, making the sport a fantastic family activity for everyone to enjoy.
Inverclyde Sports Centre will be hosting Pickleball drop-in sessions on Wednesday, January 17, from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.
Pickleball Scotland's head coach Caroline King, along with three other top Scotland players, will be providing rules and skills sessions, which are roughly 20 to 40 minutes long.
All are welcome to come along and try. Entry costs £4 per person, with all equipment provided.
