West Kilbride Table Tennis Club is continuing to move from strength to strength, with new facilities giving the club a boost as the sport continues to grow in popularity.
We were invited to have a look around the new facilities at the community centre last Friday.
Notable successes include Nathan Hogg picking up a silver medal at the British Schools Championships in Ireland last summer, and Tamara Martin, 13, who won all her matches last Friday night playing for Scotland against Ulster.
The junior section have also been on a winning run in league action, as the popular sport continues to enthrall and entertain.
West Kilbride Table Tennis Club has been going from strength to strength since it was founded in February 2017 and meets at the community centre with the sessions for juniors 7-8pm and adults 8-9pm.
West Kilbride TT Club has a wide range of ages and abilities and is open to everyone.
Organiser Billy Main said: "We have eight brand new tables up for the first time this season at West Kilbride Table Tennis Club.
"Thanks to ARIA Fund for the funding and the support, and thanks to our sponsors Tees Sport for the tables and delivering them in November.
"A big thanks to Daljic Sanghera of Nisa West Kilbride for funding allowing the club to purchase a robot which will be used weekly."
"They have proved to be a great success, and we are keen for more new members to join and come and give the sport a try."
