The future is bright for Largs Colts 2008 after they recorded a brilliant win to scoop the under eights trophy in Blackpool.
Coaches praised the ''tremendous achievement for our young champions' in an unforgettable trip during the May Day weekend.
The young footballers from Largs set off on Friday morning to compete against teams from all over the UK and Ireland in a major youth tournament.
The Colts team were competing in the Blackpool Cup against teams from across Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland throughout this weekend.
And the young troopers held their nerve in a dramatic penalty shoot out victory to triumph.

Coach Stuart Rintoul explained: “It’s a well known tournament with a lot of sides from the UK as well as some international teams.
“It has been happening for many years, and we want to take the kids to experience it before looking at a tournament abroad in a few years’ time - and what an experience!"
“Our own tournament in September helped to raise some funds, and we also hosted collection in Morrisons, a race night and various other events around the town too."

Rintoul added: "A massive thank you to Will Sewell and Alex Anderson from Largs Thistle for their generous donation and a shout out to Brandon Greenwood Hair for organising the raffle of an Andrew Robertson Liverpool top."
Sewell handed over £10 for each of the 21 goals he'd scored for Thistle this season before the weekend, with club official Alex Anderson matching Sewell's £210 donation to support the Colts with the expenses involved in taking part in the tournament.
And Will was first in line to congratulate the team on social media after their terrific victory.
Superb 🏆🏆
