YOUNG badminton players from Largs have shown they are the masters of the court after scooping top honours at an event in Northern Ireland.
The 1st Largs Boys' Brigade team lifted both the Scottish and UK badminton titles at the organisation's annual national competitions event in Belfast.
The boys all played fantastically well, putting on a great show to win the big prizes and being described by a spokesperson for the company as "an absolute credit to 1st Largs".
Pictured with the boys is 1st Largs BB captain David Hannah and long-term badminton coach John Kent, the former principal of Inverclyde Sports Centre in Largs.
A spokesperson for Largs BB said:" Well done to all the companies who competed.
"Special shout out to our friends at the 135th Glasgow BB who placed second. Thanks to Northern Ireland BB for organising."
And other BB groups were full of praise the Largs badminton champs for their journey to the title, calling the youngsters "great ambassadors for the BB and worthy winners".
The Largs team reached the final by beating opponents from Renfrew, Glasgow, Kilmarnock and Buckie.
