The trophy presentation for the past year was a glittering success.
Our pictures show Janie McKenzie receiving the Garrison Cup, Rita Salton receiving the Menzies Quaich, Chris Reekie receiving The Anne Campbell Memorial Quaich, Jim Johnstone receiving the League Trophy, Ronnie Copeland receiving the Blue League Cup, Liz Brice being presented with the Campbell Quaich, Anne Johnston receiving the Centenary Shield, Doreen McConnell receiving the Anderson Trophy, Henry Kerr receiving the Buchanan Cup, Janie McKenzie receiving the Garrison Cup, Chris Totten receiving the League Cup, Ronnie Copeland receiving the Robert Allan Medal, Linda Maxwell Cox receiving the Robb Rose Bowl, Gus Wallace receiving the Castle Hotel Cup and Jim Johnstone receiving the Munro Salver.
The club was formed by Scottish curling pioneer Dr John Cairnie, a surgeon, who lived in Largs and bought land at Broomfields, and built a house called Curlinghall.
Cairnie created the first artificial curling pond and helped to found the Royal Caledonian Curling Club of which he was the first president.
They are a friendly club and have a strong membership but are always looking for new members who wish to engage in the exciting and skilled game of curling.
They have games suitable for all ages in both mixed and single sex teams.
The chairman is Chris Totten and the secretary is Janie McKenzie, who is pictured with all the 2023-24 season's winners.
