A huge crowd at the Vikingar! fanzone enjoyed Scotland's 1-1 thriller with Switzerland last night in the Euros.
North Ayrshire were one of the first local authorities in Scotland who announced they were going to have fanzones, and the night was a resounding success with big cheers reverberating around Barrfields Theatre from a football crowd, rather than a theatrical one, for the first time in the building's 94 year history.
And it is apt that Steve Clarke's side are also looking to make history by qualifying for the second round of an international tournament for the first time. The draw means that Scotland have a chance if they win against Hungary in their last game, and other results in the groups go their way.
Great atmosphere at our Vikingar fanzone.

Huge thanks to Largs Colts for bringing the noise. pic.twitter.com/1TlRBRp7O6
A KA Leisure spokesperson said: "It was a great atmosphere at our Vikingar fanzone. Huge thanks to Largs Colts for bringing the noise."
The event was sold out a few weeks ago but a last batch of tickets became available, and were soon snapped up.
Supporting events also took place at Barrfields Putting Green, in front of the Vikingar! with pre-match footballing festivities.
Yet another great evening supporting Scotland and @KALeisure at the fan zone in Largs this evening! Another great turn out as our @SSF_Futures Young Leaders supported all of the pre-match festivities 🙌 ⚽️ @CashBackScot pic.twitter.com/UpZXM6W2QD
